Sourcing airframes against a defined requirement — from the open market, lessor portfolios, storage facilities and operator fleets. We manage search, records and condition review, commercial terms, inspection and delivery.
Managed disassembly of retired, stored and end-of-life airframes. We coordinate engine and component recovery, traceability and documentation, and the onward placement of serviceable units into the aftermarket.
Aircraft for roles outside standard passenger and freight service. We identify and secure platforms suited to survey, patrol, outsize logistics, medical evacuation and civil protection work, including aircraft requiring modification.
Structuring the relationship between technology providers, aircraft owners, operators and institutional buyers. We handle introductions, feasibility support, demonstration logistics and government-facing engagement.
Asset recovery
Airframes leave passenger service for reasons of age, economics or changing regulation — rarely because the asset itself is finished. Engines, landing gear, avionics and rotables retain real value, and a well-run teardown returns that value to the market with clean traceability behind it.
Where an airframe still has useful life, the better outcome is often placement rather than disassembly. We take a view on both, and advise accordingly.
Selected programmes
Alongside its trading and teardown work, SkyHarvest supports programmes that convert proven, certified civil airframes into autonomous or optionally-piloted platforms, in partnership with a European aerospace engineering group.
The programme begins with in-service aircraft rather than clean-sheet designs. The certified performance envelope is retained, the established maintenance and spares ecosystem stays intact, and the route to airworthiness follows a conventional path.
Long-endurance surveillance and survey, maritime and border monitoring, cargo and aerial resupply, and disaster response. Requirements are defined with the operator before any platform is proposed.

Inventory
A large population of mechanically sound aircraft sits in long-term storage worldwide, carrying real cost in preservation, ramp space and depreciation for as long as it stays there. That population is where much of our sourcing work begins.
Industry estimates place several hundred to around a thousand commercial aircraft into retirement each year, with a substantial standing population in long-term storage. Figures vary by source and cycle.
